# Overview

Atelier201 hosts websites for small businesses: a restaurant, a florist, a salon, a
shop. Each site is a real [Astro](https://astro.build) project with its own Git
history, and you can export it at any time.

The owner changes the site without learning Git, Astro or Cloudflare. A change
comes from the content editor, from the chat assistant in the app, or from an AI
agent the owner connects through [MCP](/docs/mcp/overview), the
[CLI](/docs/cli/overview) or the [REST API](/docs/api/overview). All of them go
through the same checks, so an agent cannot break what the editor protects.

## Three things to understand first

**Editing never changes the live site.** Every change lands in the draft. Visitors
see only what you publish. See [How a site goes live](/docs/platform/drafts-builds-and-publishing).

**Texts live in content, layout lives in code.** Names, prices, opening hours and
blog posts are typed content that every change is checked against. See
[Content model](/docs/platform/content-model).

**A workspace owns everything.** Sites, members, API credentials and credits belong
to a workspace, not to a person. You can belong to several and switch between them
in the top-left corner.

[**Quickstart**](/docs/platform/quickstart)

Create a site, change it, preview it and publish it.

[**Let an agent do it**](/docs/mcp/agent-setup)

One prompt connects your AI agent to the workspace.
