# MCP overview

The MCP server is at `https://mcp.atelier201.com/mcp`. It speaks the stateless MCP
revision, so most clients connect with a URL and nothing else.

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "atelier201": { "url": "https://mcp.atelier201.com/mcp" }
  }
}
```

The client is walked through OAuth on first use: you choose the workspace and
approve the permissions, in your browser, on our page. Nothing is granted
silently.

Once connected, the agent can create a site, change its content, build it and
share a preview, and publish it when you tell it to. See [Tools](/docs/mcp/standard-tools)
for the list, and [Safety and permissions](/docs/mcp/safety-and-permissions) for
what to withhold.

For a client that cannot speak HTTP, bridge it with `atelier201 mcp` over stdio.
