# See the workspace's changes

Requires `sites:write`. Costs no credits and changes nothing.

`files` lists each uncommitted path with its `action`, `put` or `delete`. `diff` is a `git diff --stat` followed by the diff itself, cut after the first 60 KB. `revision` is the draft revision the workspace started from, and `note` says when the workspace was rebuilt or moved to a newer draft.

Read it before you [commit](/docs/api/workspace/commit) to check what the entry will contain, or before you [discard](/docs/api/workspace/discard). With nothing uncommitted, `files` is empty.
