# Change the site's address

Requires `domains:write` and a workspace admin.

The previous address redirects for 30 days, and only this site can take it back meanwhile. Canonical links and the sitemap are written at build time, so a live site whose main address this is gets a rebuild. Publish that build to finish. The response says so in `next_action`.

- `slug` (`string`, required, length: `3–40 chars`): The new address: <slug>.atelier201.page. 3 to 40 lowercase letters, digits or single hyphens.
